About Indiana State University
Founded in 1865, Indiana State University has an enrollment of close to 11,500 undergradudate and graduate students on its campus in the heart of downtown Terre Haute. It comprises five Colleges of study offering more than 100 majors: Arts & Sciences; Scott College of Business; Bayh College of Education; Nursing, Health, and Human Services; and Technology. ISU boasts the highest minority enrollment of any state university in Indiana, and it's been lauded for community engagement. A Division I NCAA school, its colors are blue and white and mascot Sycamore Sam gets the crowd going.
