Williams Randall wins in best overall supplier/vendor category from International Festival and Events Association

Indianapolis, Ind. - Williams Randall won nine industry honors from the International Festival and Events Association (IFEA) for work created on behalf of the 500 Festival. Nominated for the first time in the category, Williams Randall Marketing won the Silver Award in the category of Best Vendor/Supplier. The awards were distributed during the IFEA Pinnacle Awards Ceremony held at the IFEA's 56th Annual Convention in Fort Worth, Tex.

Each year, the IFEA recognizes outstanding examples of quality and creativity in the promotional programs and materials produced by its 2,400 member festivals and events around the world. More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year from the world's top festivals and events.
"IFEA is pleased to recognize and fly the flag of those cities and markets who have worked, through concerted efforts, to provide an environment conducive to successful festivals and events," said IFEA President Steven Wood Schmader, CFEE, during the presentations. "The quality of all the entries paints a bright picture for our industry and those cities recognized with this award are helping to build a strong foundation and example that we hope all cities, globally, will work to emulate."
Winning Pinnacle entries came from organizations as diverse as The Kentucky Derby Festival, Louisville, Ky.; The Tournament of Roses, Pasadena, Calif.; Centennial Olympic Park, Atlanta, Ga. and Valero Alamo Bowl, San Antonio, Texas. International contenders included such diverse event organizations Geumsan Insam Festival, Geumson-gun, South Korea; Ludwig Van Beethoven Easter Festival, Krakow, Poland and Servus Heritage Festival, Edmonton, Canada. Entries included posters, merchandise, websites, print and broadcast ads, volunteer programs, community outreach programs and many other categories.
