City of Westfield Turns to Williams Randall to Rebrand the City

12.01.2010

Indianapolis, Ind. - The City of Westfield, Indiana, had a new mayor with visions for economic and community growth. Leaders felt the city needed its own identity among other growing cities in Hamilton County. Williams Randall led the city through a brand discovery session and then created a new brand identity including brand position, logo and color palette. The new identity captures the heritage of the old town while positioning the new CITY as a place where the community can be a part of the vibrant growth which includes new active outdoor spaces that will connect the community.

As part of the economic growth development of the City, they are building a 350-acre sports campus to attract new businesses and encourage travel to the city to make it destination for team sports and families. Williams Randall worked with the city to build the name "Grand Park - The Sport Campus at Westfield." This name captures the size of the park and also ties it back to Westfield so on a national level people will begin to know who they are. Williams Randall will create brochures to help with capital fund-raising efforts and to keep the community informed about progress. Likewise, Williams Randall is creating a microsite to serve the same purposes as the printed materials.
